Our Recipients

We try to help by donating warm clothing where the need is greatest. K and C Care has so far donated to the following organizations:

 

  • Trinity Center in Walnut Creek, CA is a 501c nonprofit organization, and will provide tax receipts for all donations.  Trinity Center is a respite and service center for those who are among the homeless and at risk of becoming homeless.  They also serve both the unemployed and the low income families.  Annually, Trinity Center helps over 5,000 people.  You can learn more about this organization from their website :  http://www.stpaulswc.org

 

  • Deacon's Closet is a center in Walnut Creek which provides clothing, food and other essential items to very low income local families in Contra Costa County.

 

  • Carson High School Ski Team is a ski team largely comprised of low-income teens, who may not have the resources to provide the protective clothing and ski equipment necessary to participate on the team.

 

  • St. Vincent's Charities in Reno, NV eases the pain of poverty in Northern Nevada by providing clothing, coats and blankets to those in need.  www.ccsnn.org.
